Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Joseph’s Home in Louisville, KY seeks an Activity Assistant who will enrich residents' lives through meaningful activities in a faith-based setting. You’ll help plan, coordinate, and implement diverse programming that honors dignity, choice, and community.

The role requires a high school diploma, a compassionate spirit, flexibility in hours, and collaboration with staff, volunteers and families. Competitive hourly pay with full benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Not-for-profit and health care related employment preferred.
• Sincere love and respect for older adults and a dynamic life enrichment approach.
• Moral integrity and ethical standards in line with a Roman Catholic provider.
• Flexibility of hours including seasonal, evening and weekend programming.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying resident desires and needs for meaningful activities.
• Plan and coordinate life enrichment activities for residents.
• Maintain safety, HIPAA compliance and proper documentation.
