Job summary

Heritage Oaks is seeking a Life Enrichment professional to lead development and delivery of patient-centered activities in a nonprofit, mission-driven setting. You’ll coordinate calendars, collaborate with the IDT, and supervise volunteers to enhance resident well-being.

Requirements include at least one year of related experience and a GHCA 36-hour certification, with certification within the first year preferred. Competitive benefits and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Qualified life enrichment professional with 1+ year experience in a social or recreation program or healthcare setting.
• Certification within first year preferred (GHCA 36-hour course).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement life enrichment programs under the Director of Life Enrichment.
• Maintain calendars reflecting patient needs and events, including evenings and holidays.
• Coordinate and deliver activities and volunteer program with supervision and evaluation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning as directed.
• Ensure inter-departmental communication and adherence to safety and privacy policies.
