At Sunrise, our Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for engaging residents in familiar routines of daily living through personalized Life Skills that "Create Pleasant Days" for residents. Life Skills are tasks residents enjoyed in the past that can still bring success, meaning, and purpose today. The Manager designs Life Skills based on each resident's interests and provides encouragement, prompts, and hands-on assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate residents' interests and involvement in Life Skills.
  • Develop Life Skills tailored to each resident’s needs and abilities.
  • Engage residents in Life Skills activities throughout the day and evening.
  • Maintain inventory of Life Skills programming supplies.
  • Assist with daily care of animals and/or plants as part of the Life Skills program, if applicable.
Qualifications:
  • At least one (1) year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
  • High School diploma / GED; additional certifications may be required by state regulations.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage residents; adapt Life Skills to cognitive and functional abilities.
  • Inspire and motivate volunteers and team members to engage residents in meaningful activities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work semi-independently following community procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new applications.
