Salary: $50,000–$55,000/year

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Manager-on-Duty Rotation

Senior Living Experience Required | Event Planning & Programming Experience Required

Bring the Ideas. Create the Experiences. Build Something Special.

Are you a creative, enthusiastic Life Enrichment Director, Activities Director, or Senior Living Programming Professional who loves bringing people together and making a positive difference?

Do you enjoy planning events, creating meaningful experiences, and finding new ways to make people smile?

Charter Senior Living of Winder is looking for a passionate Life Enrichment Director / Programming Director to help launch our brand-new senior living community!

This is more than an activities position.

We're looking for someone who can create an engaging Life Enrichment program from the ground up, establish community traditions, build relationships, coordinate memorable events, and help make Winder an exceptional place for seniors to live.

As a new community, Winder offers the opportunity to shape the resident experience from the beginning.

If you're creative, organized, experienced in senior living programming, and genuinely love making people happy, we'd love to meet you!

Why This Opportunity Is Different

New Community

  • Creative Freedom
  • Leadership Ownership
  • Meaningful Impact

At Charter Senior Living of Winder, you'll have the opportunity to establish the Life Enrichment program rather than inherit an existing calendar.

  • Developing memorable events, celebrations, and community traditions.
  • Establishing relationships with local entertainers, organizations, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Helping residents feel welcomed, connected, and excited about their new home.

  • Building resident programming that evolves as the community grows.
  • Making a direct impact on resident satisfaction and quality of life.

This is your opportunity to help create the experiences and traditions that residents will remember for years to come.

The Three Things We're Looking For

  • Proven Programming & Resident Engagement Experience

You have experience planning and leading meaningful programs, activities, or events in a senior living environment.

You understand how to create programming that appeals to different resident interests, abilities, and preferences.

  • A Genuine Passion for Making People Happy

You love working with seniors and find fulfillment in bringing joy to others.

You enjoy building relationships, creating positive experiences, and helping people feel included, connected, and valued.

  • Strong Event Planning & Coordination Skills

You know how to take an idea and turn it into a successful event.

You're organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating schedules, supplies, vendors, volunteers, entertainment, and multiple moving pieces.

Creativity is important, but the ability to plan, organize, and execute consistently is essential.
