Job summary

CRISTA Ministries in Silverdale, WA invites applications for a Life Enrichment Coordinator at CRISTA Senior Living. This part-time role focuses on delivering an engaging program of activities to support residents’ physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, with assessment, care planning and collaboration with the care team.

The position requires working with memory care residents, planning monthly calendars, and coordinating volunteers while aligning with CRISTA’s values and mission.

Qualifications

• Proficient in planning and implementing social recreational programs for seniors.
• Requires knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation.
• Excellent time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation to programs offered in the facility and use of facility services/activities.
• Maintain former community ties and sustaining life roles.
• Implement all aspects of the therapeutic process including resident assessment, care planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Utilize Life Enrichment services, creating a care plan reflecting individual needs.
• Promote physical, cognitive, emotional and mental health through activities and support resident self-expression.
