Job summary

Carefree Living in Burnsville, MN is seeking a full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and implement engaging activities for residents in our assisted living community. You will recruit and direct volunteers, create monthly calendars, interact with residents, and collaborate with teams across the campus to enhance quality of life and social engagement.

Experience in activities departments, memory care programming, and ability to plan events is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an activities department, preferably within an assisted living facility.
• Experience working with elderly/disabled adults.
• Experience recruiting volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, prioritize, and follow through on activities and events.
• Create and manage a monthly programming calendar/newsletter.
• Interact with residents and carry out activities.
• Develop new activities and adapt games for participation.
• Coordinate with other departments and volunteers to run events.
