Job summary

Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate meaningful activities for residents, supporting physical, mental, and social well-being.

The role focuses on Assisted Living residents with a 30-hour weekly schedule, typically 11:30am–6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with seniors in life enrichment.

Qualifications

Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities and events.
Promote a healthy community culture for residents and staff.
Provide educational opportunities related to disease prevention and wellness.
Lead daily resident activities according to community standards.
Prepare and distribute monthly calendars.
Plan diverse programs for a range of resident needs, including memory care.

The Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills is recruiting for Life Enrichment Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible planning, scheduling, and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of residents and conducive to their physical, mental and social well-being.

Schedule is 30 hours a week:

11:30am - 6:00pm - M-F
This position will focus on Assisted Living Residents

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Life Enrichment Coordinator:

Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities including special events following the Life Enrichment programs (Lifestyles and Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program) on a monthly basis.
Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees.
Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff in the area of disease prevention and management in the holistic spirit of the Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program.
Lead daily resident activities per our Community standards.
Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards.
Plan and execute diverse and engaging programs to meet the needs of a diverse resident population including newly retired seniors seeking a carefree lifestyle, seniors in need of physical assistance, and seniors in varying stages of memory loss.
Help assisted living residents get to and from activities, including knocking on doors as a friendly reminder and offering escort or wheelchair assistance when needed.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

High school diploma or GED required
Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred
