Job summary

Heritage Springs, part of Cascade Living, is seeking a Life Enrichment Associate (Activities Assistant) to plan and lead meaningful activities for seniors. You will drive residents, communicate effectively with staff, residents and families, and facilitate small-group sessions while embodying our mission and values.

The role requires first aid and food handling certifications, a valid driver's license, and a proactive, compassionate attitude. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have current first aid certification and a current food handler's or serve safe certification.
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner.
• Experience driving passenger shuttle bus preferred.
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families.
• Demonstrate active listening techniques, gain support by treating others with dignity and respect.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve.
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute a varied schedule of life enrichment opportunities for all levels of seniors.
• Valid Driver's license as this role will require driving residents.

As the Life Enrichment Associate (Activities Assistant) you play a big part in making our resident's lives more meaningful by assisting in the various activities. You'll be depended upon to take the lead in encouraging resident participation and over time come to understand the individual needs of each resident.
