Job Description

Walker Methodist Highview Hills is recruiting for a Life Enrichment Assistant to collaborate with the Director of Life Enrichment and assist in providing activities that meet residents' social and recreational needs through engagement. The role may include driving the van and escorting outings. The focus will be on participating in individual and group programs, especially for Memory Care residents.

Part-time position, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, including one weekend per month and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Strong talent in playing piano or keyboard, with the ability to lead musical activities
• Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life
• Awareness of dementia and the aging process
• Engaging, enthusiastic, creative, and eager to learn
• One year of experience in assisted living, independent, or long-term care preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Minnesota driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to embody Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles
