Job summary

University Place, part of Franciscan Ministries, seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant in West Lafayette, IN, to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging activities and therapeutic engagement opportunities. The LEA will work across departments, develop and implement programs, and assist with administrative tasks and transportation as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma, up to 1 year of experience with seniors, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Up to 1 year experience with seniors preferred; 1+ years of senior activity engagement preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of engagement across the community.
• Assist life enrichment with planning and leading activities.
• Escort residents to activities and events.
• Drive the community bus for outings and medical appointments.
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain activity spaces and seasonal decor.
