Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a dedicated Life Enrichment Assistant in Wilmington, Delaware. This role involves assisting in the planning and execution of activities that enhance the well-being of residents. You'll facilitate meaningful engagement, following the Acts Engaged Living Philosophy, ensuring all residents can participate based on their unique needs.

The ideal candidate should have activities/recreation experience, a high school diploma, and be willing to obtain a dementia engagement certification. We offer competitive pay starting from $15.58/hour, along with generous benefits including health plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment).
• Current or eligible for certification in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in planning and implementing programs.
• Provide residents opportunities for meaningful engagement.
• Incorporate wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality into events.
