Job summary

Rivermere of Orange is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant (Activities Assistant) to join our part-time activities team in Orange, CT. The role runs Sundays, Mondays and Fridays, 10am–6pm, and focuses on enriching residents' daily lives through engaging programming.

If you are creative, dependable and passionate about seniors, this is a great fit. The position collaborates closely with the Memory Care Neighborhood and across departments.

Qualifications

• Creative, enthusiastic and outgoing; dependable, reliable and motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and leadership abilities.
• Some computer knowledge and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with families in a customer-based Senior Living environment.
• Experience in Senior Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements a wide array of programming for residents and keeps them engaged.
• Flexibly supports other departments as needed and completes required paperwork.
• Position located in the Memory Care Neighborhood.

Responsibilities

• The Activities Assistant implements a wide array of programming for residents in our community and helps keep our residents engaged.
• Must be flexible with offering support in other departments within the community as needed. Completes required paperwork.
• This position works on the Memory Care Neighborhood.

• We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and outgoing person who is able to work independently. Must be dependable, reliable and highly motivated.
• Must have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and leadership abilities.
• Some computer knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
• Experience working and interacting with families in a customer based Senior Living environment.
• Experience working in Senior Living preferred.
