White Oak Manor of Columbia is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to create meaningful, fun, and engaging experiences for residents in a warm, family-oriented setting. You will assist with daily activities, events, and social programs while fostering joy and connection.

The role involves leading group activities, spending one-on-one time with residents, and documenting activities per CMS guidelines. Compassion, energy, and a positive, people-first attitude are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and caring toward the elderly.
• Energetic, friendly, and positive; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to complete required documentation per CMS guidelines or be taught.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily activities, events, and social programs.
• Leading and supporting activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, celebrations, and group events.
• Spending one-on-one time with residents to ensure engagement.
• Creating a warm, welcoming, and family-oriented atmosphere.
• Completing one-on-one documentation according to CMS guidelines (this can be taught).

What You'll Do

• Assisting with daily activities, events, and social programs
• Leading and supporting activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, celebrations, and group events
• Spending one-on-one time with residents to ensure everyone has the opportunity for engagement
• Creating a warm, welcoming, and family-oriented atmosphere
• Completing one-on-one documentation according to CMS guidelines and regulations (this can be taught)

Schedule

• Primarily Day Shift
• Some evenings required depending on activities or special events
• Some weekends required
