Job summary

Stellar Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant/Driver for a large senior living community at The Grand at Southern Hills. You will lead activities and support memory care residents, plus provide safe transport to appointments and events.

We offer flexible schedules with part-time and full-time options, free meals on shift, and ongoing training opportunities. A valid driver’s license and Food Handlers Permit are required.

Job Description

Life Enrichment Assistants/Drivers are responsible for facilitating the planned activities in a retirement community for both assisted living and memory care units. This involves everything from leading exercise classes and sing-alongs to brain power activities, sports and art classes and reading. Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community


• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that facility activities and resident progress are evaluated


• involve the resident/family in planning activity programs when possible


• Transport residents to doctor appointments, and activities in a safe and timely manner


• Assist residents getting into and off the bus

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter


• Food Handlers Permit


• Must have Valid, and Current Driver's License


• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chair on a regular basis
