• 1 year of experience in activities and/or recreational programs preferred.

What you will be doing

Develop and implement life-enriching programs that encourage and support a vibrant, active, and productive lifestyle to meet the residents' recreational, social, physical, vocational, intellectual, emotional, environmental, and spiritual needs.

• Lead resident programs that are fun, lively, purposeful, and engaging.
• Collaborate with the Independent Living Life Enrichment Coordinator in event and program planning and coordination.
• Ensure that programs are implemented in a safe manner.
• Transport residents to and from programmed events and other times when necessary, using HCK vehicles.

About You

• 1 year of experience in activities and/or recreational programs preferred
• Experience working with adult or geriatric populations preferred
• A valid and current Michigan chauffeur's driver's license (can be obtained upon hire), and a good driving record
• Must be CPR/AED certified or become CPR certified within 2 months of hire
