Job summary

SageGrove Blue Springs is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to enhance residents' lives through engaging activities and community involvement. You will plan, execute, and promote events tailored to interests, while supporting move-ins and orientations with families.

Your role includes creating newsletters and social media content, building strong connections with residents, families, and teammates to foster a warm, home-like community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in activity development, planning, and execution within a senior living or related setting (preferred).
• Experience caring for individuals with cognitive and memory-care needs.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and driving record in acceptable standing.
• Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective families or residents, coordinate move-ins and orientations.

• Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and team members.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in activity development, planning, and execution within a senior living or related industry (preferred).
• Experience caring for individuals with cognitive and memory-care needs.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.
