Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Virginia Beach seeks a part-time Recreation Program Assistant to help plan, implement, and evaluate recreational, social, and educational activities in alignment with residents' care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Part-time position with Tuesday–Thursday, 6-hour shifts.
• Wage between $18.00 and $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, educational, intellectual, cultural, physical, emotional and spiritual programs per resident care plan.
• Support residents' well-being through activities and engagement as directed by supervisor.
• Collaborate with supervisor to design and adjust daily activity schedules.
