Job summary

Lifetime Wellness in McKinney and Plano seeks a compassionate Wellness Assistant (full or part-time) to support older adults in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The role involves leading programs that enhance physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

The position offers flexible hours: 16 hours at one location or 32 hours across two locations, with opportunities to create meaningful engagement and collaborate with families, volunteers, and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare life enrichment programming preferred.
• Ability to lead creative, meaningful, and resident-centered programs.
• Compassionate, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group and individual activities that promote quality of life, social connection, independence, and personal fulfillment.
• Complete activity participation documentation records as required.
• Support resident engagement through creative programming, special events, wellness campaigns, and community involvement.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members.
• Promote a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for all residents.
