Job summary

Monarch Communities in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant (Part-Time) to enrich residents through spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming.

You will help plan and run activities, promote events, and bring residents to programming, with occasional driving of the company vehicle for events.

A creative, energetic individual with a positive attitude and a valid driver's license is encouraged to apply; flexible schedule and on-site team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect with residents and learn about them.
• Creativity in planning activities (singing, art, trivia).
• Energetic, positive attitude and high energy.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Know residents to tailor spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional activities.
• Promote and communicate upcoming events and activities.
• Facilitate and participate in programming such as games, art, music and performances.
• Go room-to-room to bring residents to programming and events.
• Use social media, newsletters, and email to showcase daily activities.
• Occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to events.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of activities and events (furniture, decorations).
