Apploi is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to assist in planning and leading daily activities and events for our senior living residents. You will support Thrive programming and help create joyful, meaningful experiences that promote well-being and social connection.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of activity-related experience, and CPR certification within 30 days of hire. Join a team dedicated to compassionate care and engaging community life.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience assisting with resident activities or event coordination.
• Knowledge of dementia care basics and activity planning.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading engaging daily activities and special events
• Support programs that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being
• Encourage resident participation and build relationships with residents and families
• Prepare activity materials and maintain activity spaces
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed
• Document participation and contribute ideas to enhance programming
• Support holiday celebrations and community outings
• Collaborate with other departments to create a vibrant community atmosphere
