StoneBridge Florissant seeks an Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in delivering programs that meet residents’ interests and social needs. You will assist residents with program participation, meals, and activities, while maintaining strong family communication and collaborative care with staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent; preferred nursing assistant certification.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred; 1 year experience desirable.
• Valid chauffeur's license and CDL if operating transportation vehicles (where applicable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outgoing, friendly personality; effective written and spoken communication in care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Actively implements life enrichment programs with the Life Enrichment Director to meet residents' interests and social needs.
• Assist residents to and from programs and outings as scheduled.
• Maintain rapport with family members and encourage family support in programs.
• Assist residents during meals and snacks to foster social interaction.
• Complete records of attendance and participation for residents in activities.
• Provide input to assessments and evaluations of residents' participation.
• Communicate residents' concerns to the immediate supervisor.
• Support volunteers and volunteer programs as directed by Life Enrichment Director.
• Assist with ADL needs during activities (toileting, eating/drinking).
• Participate in long-term care survey processes and regulatory/accreditation activities.
