Job summary

Morningside Elite Management is seeking an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, coordinating and running a range of activities for residents. The role reports to the Life Enrichment Director and emphasizes safety, engagement, and program quality.

The position offers full-time, part-time or per diem options, with eligibility for growth and benefits as part of our team. A two-year degree or related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities.
• Encourages resident participation in programs and activities.
• Escorts residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
• Assists with registration of residents for trips and programs.
• Conducts activities under direction of the Life Enrichment Director.
• Maintains activity supplies and may include outside purchasing.
• Surveys and interviews residents to determine interests and satisfaction.
• Maintains observation and shares information with staff.
• Follows departmental budget guidelines.
• Attends required trainings and meetings.
• Keeps a safe working environment and professional demeanor.
