Legend Senior Living in Bradenton, FL seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator to lead the activity program and oversee daily activities that enrich residents’ minds, bodies, and spirits. You will ensure a varied calendar and meaningful engagement across the community.

The role may require weekend shifts with a schedule that varies by location. You will train staff, supervise volunteers, coordinate transport for events, manage budgets, and document activities for social channels and publications.

Qualifications

• 1 year of activity or event planning experience.
• Prefer experience leading volunteers and supervising staff.
• Prefer experience working with older adults.
• Standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly life enrichment calendar to meet residents' physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Oversee service plans and interview residents to understand preferences and abilities.
• Train staff participating in life enrichment programs.
• Maintain and supervise a volunteer program.
• Coordinate transportation to events, including driving company bus/vehicle when needed.
• Monitor budget, equipment, and supplies to complete activities.
• Capture and share photos/videos of activities on company-approved platforms.
• Assist Sales Director with planning and delivery of community events or activities.
• Design layouts and decorations for activities meeting company standards.
• Ensure activity program complies with all regulations and guidelines.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for outstanding individuals to lead the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by overseeing the activity program and ensuring residents have a variety of engaging daily activities that stimulate the mind, body and spirit.

The schedule varies by location, but may require some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Developing the monthly life enrichment calendar to help meet the physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents
• Overseeing service plans and personal interviews with residents to gain insight into preferences and abilities
• Training all staff participating in life enrichment programs
• Maintaining a volunteer program, and ensuring they are trained and supervised
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events, to include driving company bus and/or vehicle when needed
• Monitoring budget, equipment, and supplies to ensure that the activity schedule can be completed successfully
• Capturing and sharing photos and videos of residence activities on company-approved social media and publication platforms, according to company standards
• Assisting the Sales Director with the planning and delivery of community events or activities at the community
• Designing the physical layout and decorations for activities, displays, and other life enrichment products that meet company standards
• Reviewing the activity program to ensure that it meets all state, federal, company, and other regulations and guidelines

Requirements

• Required: 1 year of activity planning or event planning experience

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

• Required: Current/valid driver's license
• Required: Age 25 years or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meets company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles/buses
