Job summary

Touchmark on West Prospect is a leading retirement community seeking a Part-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator for the Memory Care neighborhood. You will design and lead meaningful, person-centered activities for residents, helping maintain well-being and engagement.

The role requires a high school diploma, compassion, patience, and experience in social or recreational programming in healthcare. Weekend and holiday rotation is required; lifting up to 30 lbs may be necessary; benefits include PTO,

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities that support residents’ well-being.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and families.
• Adapt programs to meet varying ability levels and interests.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one programs, including music, art, movement, and sensory activities.
• Assist with outings and special events, ensuring safety and inclusion.
• Collaborate with the Resident Care Manager and other departments to align programming with resident needs.
• Maintain attendance, participation, and progress documentation.

Schedule: Part Time (must be available for weekend and holiday rotation)

Pay: 17.70-19.90 based on experience.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant college coursework preferred. Must be 18 years old to work in this licensed neighborhood
• Experience in social or recreational programming in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Patience, empathy, and creativity when engaging with residents living with dementia.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., move throughout the community, and transport residents to events.
