Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Tallahassee is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to create engaging programs for Memory Care residents. You will plan calendars, manage budgets, and coordinate with external groups to deliver meaningful activities that enrich daily life.

You will also help transport residents when needed, supervise specific enrichment components, and collaborate with staff to ensure safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Memory Care residents.
• Experience planning and coordinating activities.
• Ability to drive and transport residents when needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordination with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care).
• Coordinate transportation to external events and drive company vehicle when required.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff while adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
• Support ongoing program development and participate in safety and compliance procedures.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities--

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Required: Experience working with Memory Care residents & CDF
• Prefer: Experience event planning
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Driving Requirements

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
