Job summary

Bridge Senior Living is looking for a Life Engagement Assistant to plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic recreational activities for residents. You will help create engaging programs that promote wellness and joy, coordinating with other departments to tailor activities to residents’ needs.

You will also assist with transportation for activities and appointments, and help prepare the monthly Community newsletter.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid State of Residence Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in Senior Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents.
• Establish and promote programs that foster enjoyment and overall wellness.
• Consult with other departments to implement appropriate activities for residents.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for activities and appointments, and may transport residents as needed.
• Assist in preparing monthly Community newsletter.

Life Engagement Assistant Job Summary:

ALife Engagement Assistantis responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents.

• Establish, promote, and support programs fostering enjoyment and overall wellness.
• Consult with other departments in implementing appropriate activities for Residents.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments
• May occasionally be responsible for resident transportation
• Assist in preparation of monthly Community newsletter
