Bridge Senior Living in Birmingham, AL is actively seeking a Life Engagement Assistant to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents, promoting enjoyment and overall wellness.

You will work with other departments to implement suitable activities and may coordinate transportation for activities and appointments, including occasional resident transport and monthly newsletters. This role offers health benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certified.
• Valid State of Residence Driver’s License with safe driving record.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in Senior Living.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents.
• Establish, promote, and support programs fostering enjoyment and overall wellness.
• Consult with other departments in implementing appropriate activities for residents.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments.
• May occasionally be responsible for resident transportation.
• Assist in preparation of monthly Community newsletter.
