Job summary

Triple-S Management Corp. seeks a driven Life Insurance Agent to sell individual life and disability policies and manage collections in Puerto Rico. You will balance daily sales and premiums and act as the primary liaison between clients and the company.

Required are a high school diploma (or equivalent), and an active Life Insurance/Disability license (Limited license acceptable). Prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Commercial Technical Course, preferably with 6 months of experience in the essential functions of the position.
• Limited License, Life Insurance and/or Disability Insurance license issued by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico and keep it active and without restrictions.
• Life Insurance Agent License

Responsibilities

• Sell life and disability policies on the assigned route.
• Collect outstanding policies in the assigned area.
• Record and balance sales and premium collections made daily.
• Deposit on a daily basis the collected premiums into the bank account provided by the company.
• Attend meetings called by the Manager or Supervisor to report results of sales and collection management.
• Serve as a link and communication channel between the company and the client.
• Guide and help clients in filing claims and follow up on their processing.
• Other tasks related to the position.
