Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is seeking a Life Coach to support clients in an on-site emergency housing setting, assisting transition to permanent housing. You will conduct intake, set goals, coordinate services, and help clients access housing stability resources.

The role emphasizes culturally responsive, trauma-informed case management, with a focus on housing navigation, life skills coaching, and collaboration with community resources to promote stability and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality, structured, culturally responsive, trauma-informed case management and stability planning.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing, HousingFirst, and Harm Reduction in client work.
• Maintain client records and progress notes in accordance with EDNSC policies.

Responsibilities

• Case Management for clients and staff coordination.
• Safety and Security: maintain knowledge of fire, safety and disaster plans; confidentiality.
• Administrative Duties: maintain accurate client records and progress reports.
