Phoenix Family in Kansas City, MO seeks a Life Coach to provide evidence-based coaching to residents of affordable housing to set and meet goals that help exit poverty. This is a full-time, in-person role delivering coaching at community centers.
You will work with the CEO project team and Phoenix Family colleagues, using EMPath Mobility Mentoring and Trauma-Informed care, documenting data for program management and reporting.

The Life Coach will provide evidence-based coaching to people living in affordable housing communities to set and meet goals to exit poverty.
Phoenix Family is currently hiring three Life Coach positions funded through a 3-year grant in partnership with the Coalition for Equity and Opportunity (CEO). The goal of this project is to ensure people in affordable housing can meet their employment goals through addressing multiple barriers to economic mobility. The Life Coach’s time will be spent with participants to deliver coaching, working as part of a team to address compounding barriers to participant employment goals, and meet the mission of both Phoenix Family and the CEO. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) in-person position, and the Life Coach will deliver coaching at various Phoenix Family-supported communities within onsite community centers. The salary range for this role is $52,000 to $55,000 per year. The Life Coach will report to the Program Manager at Phoenix Family.
