ALFA Trechs, Inc. is seeking a Lidar Scanning Technician based in Syracuse, New York. In this role, you will travel nationally to diverse client sites, utilizing advanced Lidar-based 3D laser scanning technology to capture and analyze existing field conditions. Qualifications

• 2 - 4+ years of laser scanning experience.
• Experience with 3D laser scanning technology like Leica, FARO, Trimble, NavVis.
• Ability to interpret and understand 2D floor plans effectively.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationally to client sites for Lidar-based 3D laser scanning.
• Collaborate with project managers on project deliverables.
• Conduct daily field data capture and preprocess 3D Lidar data.

• In this exciting position, you will travel nationally to diverse client sites, utilizing cutting-edge Lidar-based 3D laser scanning technology to capture and analyze existing field conditions
• Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering high-quality project data and solutions, making a significant impact on our clients' success
• Work closely with the project manager to ensure the efficient processing of 3D laser scan data, providing critical insights to support project deliverables
• Conduct daily field data capture and preprocessing of 3D Lidar data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Provide office staff with notes on field data that was acquired
• Collaborate with the project manager to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions

• Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the mission

Qualifications

• 2 - 4+ years of laser scanning experience
