Job summary

Kelar Pacific, LLC is seeking an experienced LiDAR Scanning Project Manager to lead laser scanning projects from start to finish, blending technical expertise in 3D laser scanning and Revit modeling with strong project management capabilities.

You will coordinate on-site scanning with Faro, Leica, and Navvis, develop accurate Revit models from scan data, manage budgets and timelines, and communicate with clients to ensure deliverables meet quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in laser scanning, surveying, or BIM.
• Proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling and project documentation.
• Experience with Faro, Leica, or NavVis scanners.
• Certifications: PMP or related PM credentials advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.
• Able to move scanning gear up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor project progress both in the office and on-site.
• Perform laser scanning using Faro, Leica, or NavVis scanners to capture data.
• Oversee all phases of laser scanning project delivery to meet milestones and quality standards.
• Develop and manage accurate 3D models in Revit from scan data.
• Coordinate with VP of Project Services, Sr. Project Managers, and teams for on-time delivery.
• Document and improve workflows to boost productivity.
• Oversee hardware, software, and resource requirements for projects.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and align deliverables.
• Manage production of 2D drawings, point clouds, and BIM models with internal and external teams.
• Develop detailed project estimates including labor, hardware, software, and timelines.
• Monitor budgets and schedules to allocate resources and satisfy clients.
