Job summary

Lumotive is looking for a motivated Technologist to support our LCM technology in cutting-edge Lidar systems. You'll manage component intake, inventory, and perform hands-on prototyping tasks including optical alignment and system calibration.

This role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong focus on attention to detail and teamwork. Benefits include health insurance, stock options, and paid company holidays. The position offers a salary between $40,000 - $45,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hardware lab or manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with opto-electronics product is highly preferred.
• Ability to work under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize intake and quality control procedures for circuit boards.
• Prototyping tasks including opto-mechanical precision assembly and optical alignment.
• Operate and maintain custom electro-optical test setup.
