Job summary

WGI is seeking a GIS Analyst – LIDAR to support data collection, processing and QA for LiDAR and aerial imagery. The role requires strong analytical skills and attention to data quality in a fast-paced geospatial environment.

The position offers collaboration with GIS/CAD professionals, opportunities to advance technical expertise in LIDAR and geospatial systems, and a comprehensive benefits package. Travel may be required, with per diem and lodging provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred.
• Experience with LiDAR data processing and GIS workflows.
• Knowledge of GNSS/IMU data collection and QA procedures.
• Familiarity with coordinate systems and map projections.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, collection, processing and QA of LiDAR and aerial imagery.
• Troubleshoot LiDAR data processing issues and data gaps.
• Troubleshoot LiDAR collection equipment issues including GNSS and IMUs.
• Develop efficient workflows and training materials for new staff.
