Job summary

WGI seeks a Geospatial Analyst II for its Huntsville, AL or Lakewood, CO office. You will perform geospatial workflows, handle LiDAR, imagery, and hydrographic data, and contribute to high-accuracy data products. A bachelor’s in Geography or related field and 5 years of GIS experience, including ArcGIS Pro, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• 5 years of increasing technical knowledge in GIS, LiDAR, photogrammetry, remote sensing, or surveying.
• Experience with ESRI software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcSDE/enterprise geodatabase environments, is required.
• Experience with hydrographic data conflation, including integrating and reconciling hydrographic features from multiple sources, is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform geospatial workflow processes using GIS and remote sensing technology, including pre-processing imagery, digitizing vector features, LiDAR classification for surface model development, DEM creation, hydrographic breakline extraction, and assisting with metadata and project reporting.
• Perform hydrographic data conflation by integrating, reconciling, and quality-checking hydrographic features from multiple geospatial data sources.
• Support geospatial standards, product generation, and geodatabase management by serving as a technical specialist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
• 5 years of increasing technical knowledge in GIS, LiDAR, photogrammetry, remote sensing, or surveying.
