Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Licensing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day licensing operations, ensuring customers receive accurate software and SaaS entitlements in a timely and compliant manner. As the final touchpoint in the sales-to-activation process, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience while maintaining adherence to licensing policies and procedures.

You Will

  • Issue and update software and SaaS licenses, ensuring entitlements are accurate.
  • Support renewals and contract amendments by validating details against prior agreements.
  • Respond to licensing inquiries from cross-functional partners.
  • Address common requests such as trial extensions, entitlement adjustments, and license visibility.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication, leveraging templates and SOPs.
Compliance & Accuracy
  • Ensure licensing actions are aligned with contractual terms and company policies.
  • Track trial extensions and escalate exceptions for approval.
  • Maintain accurate data within Salesforce and meet SLA timelines.
Process Adherence & Improvement
  • Follow established SOPs for licensing tasks while contributing to documentation updates.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest small improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Adapt to evolving workflows and CRM configurations.
You Have
  • 2–4 years of experience in customer operations, licensing, order management, or a related function.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (or other CRM/contract management systems).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work accurately in detail-oriented, high-volume environments.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems independently.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the SaaS/software industry.
  • Familiarity with Service Cloud or other ticketing platforms.
  • Exposure to entitlement data structures (e.g., feature flags, JSON attributes).
  • Understanding of compliance or contract-driven workflows.
Candidate Qualities
  • Customer Focus – Acts with empathy and ensures a positive experience.
  • Attention to Detail – Maintains accuracy in multi-step processes.
  • Problem Solving – Finds solutions in ambiguous situations.
  • Collaboration – Works effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability – Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Accountability – Meets deadlines and upholds compliance standards.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form? We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s OFCCP website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability? A disability is a condition that substantially limits one or more of your major life activities. If you have or have ever had such a condition, you are a person with a disability. Disabilities include, but are not limited to, the list provided.

PUBLIC BURDEN STATEMENT: According to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 no persons are required to respond to a collection of information unless such collection displays a valid OMB control number. This survey should take about 5 minutes to complete.
