Job summary

Nourish is seeking a Licensing Senior Associate to support licensing operations across the U.S., ensuring licenses are obtained and maintained for RDs, MDs, NPs, and therapists. You will help develop SOPs, streamline workflows, and collaborate with the RCM, Payer Ops, Clinical Ops, and Customer Experience teams to deliver accurate, timely licensing outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in provider licensing or related healthcare operations.
• Familiar with licensing processes and state licensing requirements for RDs, MDs, NPs, therapists.
• Effective communicator and able to collaborate across roles and teams.
• Meticulously organized and detail-oriented.
• Thrives in ambiguity and open to building processes from the ground up.
• Tech-savvy and open to learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end licensing applications for providers across the U.S.
• Suggest automation or new tools to streamline licensing workflows.
• Develop SOPs for new state/provider licensing and implement them.
• Assist in managing/training the contract licensing team.
• Track licensing metrics and report progress with actionable insights.
• Provide licensing communications and support to Registered Dietitians, Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and therapists.
• Communicate across cross-functional teams to share updates and reprioritize work as needed.

About The Role

Reporting directly to our Senior Manager, Provider Network Strategy, the Licensing Senior Associate will support all licensing operations at Nourish, including assisting with day-to-day tasks, maintaining and optimizing workflows, developing net-new processes as we expand into new states and provider types, and helping to ensure the licensing process runs smoothly. This role is critical for many of Nourish's core operations; you'll get the chance to work cross-functionally with our RCM, Payer Ops, Clinical Ops, and Customer Experience teams. The work you do will positively impact all stakeholders at Nourish—our patients (ensuring they get the life-changing care they need), our dietitians (providing a seamless licensing experience), and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end cycle of licensing applications for new and existing providers across the U.S., ensuring all requirements are met for licenses to be approved.
• Support efforts to streamline existing licensing processes by providing suggestions for automation or new tools, optimizing individual steps, and ensuring smooth workflows.
• Develop SOPs (detailed guides) for new state or provider licensing, and own the implementation across the team.
• Assist in managing/uptraining our contract licensing team.
• Help track licensing metrics and report on progress, roadblocks, and other updates; provide suggestions on how to make our reporting more robust & actionable.
• Provide direct support to our Registered Dietitians, Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and therapists and own/manage all licensing communications to these providers.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to share updates, reprioritize work, and gather input as needed.

• You are familiar with licensing processes and state licensing requirements for RDs or MDs, NPs, therapists.

• You are meticulously organized and detail-oriented.
