Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs activities of a regional office responsible for evaluating and licensing community care facilities and enforcing community care regulations.
• Develops policies and procedures to facilitate the operation of the CCL program.
• Acts as Division representative with other agencies, recruits and hires staff, and recommends actions against noncompliant licensees.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive training program and provides technical assistance to Licensing Program Analysts on new inspection tools.
• Represents the regional office to community organizations and engages with stakeholders and the legislature for consultation.
