Job summary

State of California in San Francisco is seeking a case coordinator for the Licensing Section to independently manage a large caseload, audit ProLaw data, and prepare filings such as accusations and petitions for licensing cases.

The role includes analytical review of investigative files, assisting attorneys in trial preparation and at administrative hearings, and providing litigation support for civil and administrative actions while maintaining effective relationships with DOJ staff and client

Qualifications

Ability to independently organize and manage a large number of assigned tasks related to administrative actions.
Analyze investigative material to determine sufficiency of evidence to support charges.
Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, as an advocate for a client.

Responsibilities

Manage a large caseload and audit ProLaw data to ensure accurate documentation.
Analyze referrals from licensing agencies and prepare accusations, statements of issues, petitions and related pleadings.
Assist attorneys in trial preparation and provide litigation support for civil/administrative actions.
Represent client agencies at administrative hearings and coordinate with DOJ staff and licensing agencies.
