Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking a Licensing Manager to lead our licensing program in NYC. You will forecast budgets, manage multiple licenses, and drive negotiations with licensors to expand our brand footprint.

You will coordinate with Design, Production, Sales, and Legal, supervise the licensing team, and ensure compliance with terms while maintaining strong communication with external partners.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of licensing, ideally within character licensing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple licenses simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of licensing agreements, approval workflows, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience managing external licensor relationships.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel and email-driven workflows.

  • Supervise and support the licensing team, including coordinators and managers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership across Design, Production/Product Development, Sales, Testing, and other departments.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and professionalism, with a strong work ethic, a proactive and solutions-driven mindset, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
