Job summary

Advisors Excel is a fast-paced, client-focused firm in Topeka, KS. We seek a Contract & Licensing Development Manager to lead the team that licenses financial advisors and sets up products with partner carriers for annuity, life insurance, and Medicare offerings.

You will coach and develop staff, manage schedules and workload, interview and train new team members, and partner with AE teams and carriers to streamline processes and improve the advisor experience. Onsite at our Topeka location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in contracting and licensing in financial services or insurance.
• Experience managing people in regulated, high-volume operations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload with changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team’s day-to-day work – track workload and deadlines, coordinate staffing, and ensure advisor requests are handled accurately and on time.
• Coach and develop your team through regular one-on-ones, clear expectations, and feedback on productivity and quality.
• Manage team schedules, time-off requests, timecards, and assist interview, hiring, and training of new staff.
• Be the go-to person for escalated advisor requests and review the team’s work for quality.
• Partner with insurance companies and AE teams to improve processes and advisor/employee experience.
