Job summary

Pain Clinics of Central California Inc seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care in our outpatient surgery center. You will work with RNs, physicians, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, administering meds, monitoring vitals, and educating patients with a focus on quality outcomes. Valid CA LVN license and ACLS/IV certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license to practice in California.
• ACLS certification required.
• IV certification required.
• California driver’s license must be valid.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of RNs and physicians.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist in recovery.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain accurate documentation per facility protocols.
• Assist with patient education and discharge instructions.
• Support infection control and quality assurance initiatives.
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and administrative teams.
• Make pre-op and post-op calls.

We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our growing team. As an LVN in our outpatient surgery center, you will support pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
