Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, the IDD Provider (IDDP) Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will practice within the scope of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and Nursing Standards of Care of Professional Performance. The LVN is responsible for screening, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and delivering an array of health services to individuals served by the IDDP Waiver Services. The LVN assists with the development and maintenance of nursing service objectives and implements treatment and training as listed in the individuals' Implementation Plan. The LVN functions as a liaison between the individuals, their families, staff, and the public—responding to inquiries and providing information on nursing care and services. This position may perform focus assessments of prospective individuals to ensure that staff can provide the care needed. The LVN ensures compliance with regulations pertaining to care plans and individuals in care. The role requires performing and documenting at least five (5) hours of direct care daily with the assigned caseload.
Salary: $15.64-$21.00/hrly
Work Schedule: 8-5pm, Flex Monday-Friday
Salary: Depending on Qualifications
Monthly On-Call Stipend: $100.00
