Job summary

OakBend Medical Center in Texas seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide direct nursing care under physician orders and standards, working within a compassionate team.

Candidates should have a Texas LVN license, be a graduate of an accredited LVN program, and hold Basic Life Support. ACLS within one year is suggested; computer skills and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Certificate from an accredited program for Licensed Vocational Nursing.
• Previous clinical nursing experience is desirable.
• Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support within one year of hire suggested; Computer skills are required.
