Job summary

Apploi seeks a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead the resident care team in our Fresno facility. You will oversee daily nursing operations, assign staff, mentor nurses, and coordinate with physicians to ensure quality outcomes and family satisfaction.

You will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, administer medications, review the MDS processes, and maintain PCC charts in accordance with policy. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily nursing functions in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with care documentation.
• Participate in orientation for new residents/family members.
• Participate in facility surveys as scheduled.
• Ensure high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction.
• Serve as a resource to staff regarding service quality.
• Administer medications and follow physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Manage nursing staff to minimize overtime and agency use.
• Assess staff performance against care standards.
• Conduct unit huddles and provide updates to DON.
• Coordinate shift and resident assignments with CNAs.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet residents’ needs.
• Assume nursing administrative responsibilities during weekends/holidays.
• Be flexible to stay beyond scheduled shift to meet staffing requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate MDS compliance reflecting the plan of care.
• Ensure PCC is utilized per company process.
• Follow physician orders as prescribed.
