Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide direct patient care under RN supervision, adhering to California LVN scope and carrying responsibility for nursing actions, decisions and behavior in a busy hospital setting.

Must hold a California LVN license, BLS and IV certification. Night shifts with a differential are available at 12401 Washington Blvd, Whittier, CA 90602, within PIH Health’s regional network.

Provides direct patient care under the direction/supervision of a registered nurse. Practices within the legal boundaries for licensed vocational nursing and accepts responsibility of individual nursing actions, competence, decisions, and behavior in the course of vocational nursing practice.
