Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I/II/III – Endocrinology

The vocational nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Coordinator. The LVN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards. The LVN identifies priorities and makes judgments concerning basic needs of multiple patients to organize care.

• Follow the supervision and directives of Nurse Supervisors or Nurse Coordinators.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhering to legal and organizational standards.
• Prioritize patient needs and organize care accordingly.

Job Details

• Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I/II/III – Endocrinology - Sign On Bonus $5,000
• Location: West Campus

• Salary Range: $48,143 - $70,652 (based on experience, education, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.

Experience

• LVN I: 6 months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program.
• LVN II: 4-8 years in a clinical area.
• LVN III: 9+ years in a clinical area.

Licenses

• Current and valid Texas LVN license.

Skills

• Ability to use equipment and supplies for the assigned clinical area.
• Computer proficiency; preferred: Windows-based skills, EPIC experience.

Other Requirements

• Current BCLS certification.
