Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
3. Certification from the California Board of Vocational Nursing
4. Valid / Current First Aid and CPR certification (NOTE: Lancaster School District DOES NOT ACCEPT online CPR and First Aid Classes)
5. Valid California driver's license and the ability to provide transportation between school sites
6. Two (2) recent letters of reference

Application Requirements:

• All requirements must be attached when submitting the application, including LVN license, CPR, and First Aid Certification
• Applicants must successfully complete each part of the examination process; note that there is no written exam. The performance test will be scheduled (TBD).
• If five (5) qualified applicants from Lancaster School District demonstrate the ability to meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled on a promotional basis.
