Job summary

Madera Community Hospital in Central California is seeking a licensed LVN to support nursing care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

You will perform data collection, participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, and uphold California Board of Vocational Nursing standards.

Applicants should have an active CA LVN license, BCLS, and good English communication; IV experience and computer skills are preferred.

• Peripheral IV experience and skills preferred.

Position Summary:

Performs the functions of a licensed LVN; practices data collection, and participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of assigned patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Performs procedures signed off as competent on their unit specific skills competency check list.

Prefer experience performing Nursing practice consistent with the performance standards of the LVN or equivalent.

Work requires knowledge of patient data collection and nursing standards, knowledge of the California Vocational Board of Nursing rules and regulations, hospital policies and procedures, basic pharmaceutical, math skills.
