Accel at Willow Bend in Plano, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team, with 10pm–6am shifts and double weekends. You will provide direct resident care in a long-term and rehabilitative setting, ensuring services meet clinical standards and physician orders.

With supervisory experience, you will lead nursing staff, coordinate care plans, administer medications, and support a positive resident experience.

Formación

• Current, valid LVN licensure required.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management/supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains nursing service objectives and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing needs with Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Directs and oversees subordinates; assigns duties.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
• Investigates accidents/incidents; documents actions.
• Other duties as assigned.

LVN Responsibilities:

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies/secures equipment supplies
• Directs/oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees/monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
• Monitor’s infection control compliance.
• Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

LVN Requirements:

• Current, valid licensure as a LVN required
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred
• Management/Supervisory experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed
• Strong written and verbal skills required

Shifts Available: 10pm to 6am and Double Weekend
